Dubai Media Incorporated and Dubai Islamic Bank Enter Strategic Partnership to Support National Content and Keep Pace with Development

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) has entered into a strategic partnership with Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) as part of its ongoing commitment to advancing the media sector and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading hub for content creation and production. The partnership aims to support national media content and strengthen collaboration between leading institutions in the UAE, in line with the country’s comprehensive development journey and Dubai’s vision to deepen public–private sector partnerships.

Under the agreement, Dubai Islamic Bank will become the exclusive sponsor of Emirates News, produced by DMI’s News Centre and broadcast daily on Dubai TV. The bulletin highlights key local news and developments while showcasing the UAE’s achievements and progress across various sectors.

The partnership reflects a shared vision to develop impactful media content that reinforces the role of national media as a key partner in development. It also demonstrates Dubai Islamic Bank’s commitment to supporting initiatives that highlight the UAE’s accomplishments and success stories. At the same time, Dubai Media Incorporated continues to expand its network of strategic partnerships and enhance the quality of content across its platforms.

Reem Al Merri, Director of the News Centre at Dubai Media Incorporated, said the collaboration aligns with DMI’s strategy to build effective partnerships that elevate news content and strengthen the media’s role in documenting the UAE’s economic and developmental progress. She noted that the sponsorship will also support innovative models that integrate media and marketing, ensuring the sustainability of the media sector amid rapid industry transformations.

For her part, Meitha Shuaib, Head of Marketing at Dubai Islamic Bank, said the partnership reflects the bank’s long‑standing vision of supporting national media initiatives. She emphasized the importance of credible media in raising public awareness and promoting positive values, noting that the sponsorship of Emirates News stems from the bank’s belief in the bulletin’s role in conveying a realistic image of the UAE’s achievements and future aspirations.
